BRTC BB Cream - Perfect Recovery Balm Review

BRTC (Bio Remedies Therapeudic Cosmetics) BB Cream is considered one of the hottest Blemish balm in Korea...now I know why.

I haven't been using BRTC BB Cream long enough to verify if it holds up to it claims such as aiding hypersensitive and troublesome skin caused by stimulus; helps rejuvenate skin after laser and peel care; diminish skin's imperfection; brightening the skin and even out skin tone...

BRTC BB Cream for me, is great as a foundation regardless if it holds up to its claims or not.

BRTC has many version of BB Creams and I believe the Perfect Recover Balm is one of their popular ones.

The consistency on BRTC BB Cream is a little bit thick. It's little darker in shade but it's actually pretty light after blended.

Lets start with all the negatives:
-It doesn't state on the cover if it have SPF or not...I know that Titanium Dioxide (listed on the ingredient) is used in many sunscreen to protect against sun damage but it would be nice if it actually listed SPF number or what type of rays it protected against. I'm confused and I'm not sure if I should use this during the day so I'm gonna put this as a negative for now. If anyone knows, please shed some light.
-It doesn't come in many shades. I don't have a problem with this since most BB Cream comes in lighter shades and my skin is pretty light too. But I think it would be nice for others to be able to try and test out BB creams too.
-Availability. Many BB creams are not available worldwide. Most of us have to resort to the internet and websites such as Ebay to get BB creams (I did :D). And most of the time, we have to trial and test. It would also be nice if we could go to a beauty counter and test it out before spending money :)

So that's all the negatives...not that many right?  lets move on to the positives...

what I like about BRTC BB Cream?
+No scent
+It has great coverage. It may be a little bit unnatural and thick when first applied on. But after about 10 minutes, when the cream absorbs into your skin, it turns out pretty natural and nice.
+Has really good oil control. After long hours of wearing it, I only need to blot lightly on my t-zone once.
+Lasted for a very long time. I wore this for over 8 hours and it still looks intact or even more natural and brighter looking. I have the same experienced with LEGERE BB Cream and Skinfood. My skin looks more natural and vibrant the longer I wore it...serious! This is part of the reason why I love BB Cream. Then again, this is my own experience. I feel that after certain hours, the bb cream absorb and sink well into my skin and making it glows. Sorry to those who don't have the same experience :(

Here's a picture of me at the end of the night still wearing BRTC BB Cream. I added the soft light effect in Photoshop to this photo. But you can see that I'm still blemishes free at the end of the night. And yes, I do have blemishes and uneven skintone. The cream does a good job at hiding those. Phew ^_^

I got my BRTC BB Cream on Ebay.
Overall, this is a good BB Cream. It's on my top list alongside with LEGERE and Skinfood. If you're looking for coverage, definitely try BRTC but if you're looking for a light suitable for everyday wear, go for Skinfood since it's inexpensive and also has SPF++. I will do a more throughly comparison of all the BB Creams later.

  7. Thank you so much for your review!! I've been searching everywhere for the list of ingredients [since I have such sensitive/acne prone/oily skin and I need to bring in everything I use to my derm who dictates which ingredients/products will clog my pores]. Hopefully, I can try the product and see how it well it works. <3

  9. Thanks for the reviews. I have tried 3 brands already from MD Solutions, Hanskin, to Skin79. I still want more and choosing between BRTC, Missha, Lioele, and Skin Food. Your reviews made me decide which one I should get first.

  11. I noticed a few red spots on my face though after using hanskin gold caviar for a week now so I don't recommend it. Skin 79 though is very nice as well as MD Solutions. I like it a lot as it has makes my skin look naturally fresh and glowing with just loose powder on top of it. I also read from a couple of reviews that Tony Moly is really good but the cons is that it is hard to find.

  13. I haven't tried BRTC yet. The new brand I am trying now is Tony Moly. I read a couple of new reviews about this brand and I have to say that it is the best so far that I have tried. This is my 5th bb cream and I am loving every drop of it. I haven't had any breakouts and the coverage is just great! The best bb cream so far :)
