Giorgio Armani, Shame On You!

Although I am in love with your Face Fabric Foundation, I now think twice about making another purchase with your brand name on it. Undoubtedly, I don't question the quality of your products, but if the quality comes from an inhumane act, I'm more than happy to not be a part.

PETA confirmed that "The undercover investigations of rabbit fur farms in China and France—two countries from which Armani buys rabbit fur—revealed pitiful living conditions for rabbits, who are confined to tiny wire cages before they are slaughtered."

Watch this video below to see it with your own eyes.  WARNING: Video contains material that may not be suitable for children or the weak of heart.

Find out more about Armani on peta.org.

Armani told Time magazine last year, "I spoke with the people from PETA, and they showed me some materials that convinced me not to use fur." However, he went against his word with his latest collections which include fur-trimmed jackets, fur-hemmed skirts, floral-printed fur coats, and even fur-trimmed snowsuits for babies. Armani has now refused to meet with PETA Vice President Dan Mathews to discuss the concern.

Please fight for animal rights and TAKE ACTION.
Contact Giorgio Armani and urge him to keep the promise that he made by permanently removing all fur from his collections.

  6. sigh... and sadly this is just ONE company -- there's quite a few "everyday" drug store brand makeup companies that do animal testing on poor animals...

I actually remember seeing a previous blog, someone did an entry listing all the makeup mfrs. that do animal testing, and it's REALLY disturbing.

It's all about the organic makeup and checking those NO ANIMAL TESTING LABELS on makeup, perfumes, and even shampoos.

    GREAT POSTING GIRL!

  16. Thank you so much for this post. I think you have made a real difference by showing all these women just what happens to these poor creatures, the stuff makeup companies don't want people to know.

You're really an angel for animals!
