Lately, I fell in love with natural looking makeup. I used to wear very heavy eyeshadow colors but since the beginning of summer, I found it's too much for the dry and hot weather. I've grown in love with neutral colors and it probably gonna stick with me for a while. I don't normally wear heavy foundation but I have a bunch of MAC foundation that was given to me and I need to use it up. I'm never a fan of MAC foundation btw. I'd preferred Clinique over MAC because it's more natural looking and not as oily. So my skin was screaming and moaning after I had it on!!! It was horrible because the liquid consistency was too thick. But the pictures turned out ok, which is all that matters in the end. LOL
Here's my look today:
On face:
MAC Select SPF15 Foundation in NW20
MAC Studio Finish Face Powder in NC30
MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Peachykeen
Eyes:
MAC eyeshadow in Brown Down
MAC eyeshadow in Espresso (for the outer corner)
Fiberwig Mascara (I'm starting to dislike this thing now...my lashes fall off like crazy when I washed my face...this doesn't happened with other mascara!!!)
Lips:
Clinique lip gloss in Tenderheart

ReplyDeleteSecondly, you don't look like you're wearing foundation in the picture. You just have good skin. I agree I don't like MAC foundation or any of their foundation products. It seems thick on me.
Thirdly, you should post a heavy makeup picture and compare that to present neutral look. :) I would love to see it!
Lastly, there's no website for the blush. Sorry! I bought it at the Japanese market in J-town. The three stories one.

LOL, man lately i have been online shopping more than goin out shopping. lol, maybe next month i will shop for more makeup, cuz i spend like $100 of dollars for makeup this month already...hehe. Anyways, i agree with you on the Mac foundation, they look really nice in pictures but when i use it, i looked really fake outside, so i dont ever use foundation. Mac foundation are so thick and i heard they can kill ur skin.

ReplyDeletei donno if u can exchange it. but coastal scents brush are pretty good, buy the italian badger, not the pink one, i dont like the pink one, the furs are hard. Italian badgers are the best one so far for me. They are soft and doesnt shed.

I also stopped wearing heavy eye makeup because of the summer heat. I usually don't wear MAC foundation either because I find it to be unnatural and heavy but from the pictures, it looks pretty natural on you. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteThe only place they offer the blush is that market that I know of. I'm liking it a lot myself! I've been wearing it everyday this week. I been wearing makeup daily this week which is amazing with this heat and my laziness! I need to get into the routine of wearing makeup so when I sub, it'll go fast because I have a tendency to forgot how to apply. :X Are you going to sub?
