I'm on a quest to recover my eyebrows to its original beautiful shape if not better. Also wanting to have longer, beautiful, luscious lashes. Above picture are just some of the products that I've used and currently using...so what works and what doesn't? Continue to read my reviews below.
Talika Eyebrow Lipocils
Cost: $40 at Talika
Claimed: Fuller eyebrows in 28 days
It comes in a tube with a side mirror. The wand is very soft when glide on eyebrow. Clear gel base/No odor/smell. However, I used it consistently for the number of days indicated. It helps moistened the brows yet, no sign of growth at all.
Talika Lipocils Eyelash Gel
Cost: $35 at Talika...I have the old tube, the newer one cost $40
What it is formulated to do: Natural longer and thicker eyelashes in just 28 days
My eyelashes stayed the same. No growth, not even in 30 days!
Anastasia Brow Enhancing Serum
Cost: $35 at Sephora
What it is formulated to do: Fuller, thicker-looking brows in 4-6 wks.
It comes in a small tube with a small brush applicator. No color/no scent. I used it for 4-6 weeks as suggested but very little to no sign of growth. I'm giving it a 1 rating because it holds my eyebrows in place...can be a substituted for eyebrow gel...an expensive substitute that is.
Ardell Brow & Lash Accelerator Treatment Gel
Cost: $4 at Drugstore
What it is formulated to do:: Repair weak lashes and restore thickness of over-tweezed or thinning brows.
It comes in a clear tube. The brush is hard but it's acceptable since it's only $4. I was so excited when I read the reviews of previous buyer on drugstore.com and got my hands on it immediately. The first week of using it gave me amazing results. I've seen little sprouted hairs on my eyebrows and eyelashes that I haven't seen in years. I told my co-workers about it and together we bought over 10 more tubes from the website. However, here's the catch...yes, there's always a catch to good things. LOL. So with the quick growth, I was expecting the result to be even greater the second week but NO! The result is still the same. I used it consistently for several weeks and found out that whatever results you got on the first week is basically your greatest result. Another thing about this product is it smells so bad after 1-2 weeks due to the air exposure. Even if you tried to ignore the smell and apply it on your eyebrow/eyelash...trust me, others will notice it!!! I'm giving this a 3 because it's the cheapest product that actually showed some growth...the growth is not permanent though because when I stopped using it, it's gone bye gone :(
Products I'm currently experimenting with:
Rejuvi “e” Eyebrow Revitalizer: $35 at an Asian Beauty Store
Revitalash: $150 at Revitalash.com
Worldra Beaulash: unknown price. Given to me by my sister, she wanted me to try it!
Ahhhh...when will my quest be fulfilled? :(
