~~UPDATES~~
7/9/08: My shipment arrived. Click to read: Konad Stamping Nail Arrived
7/3/08: I've placed an order through Konad.com; transaction was clear last week although I haven't heard any shipping confirmation from the company. Contacted them via email but no response thus far. I'm still waiting. So far, I'm not very satisfy with the company's lack of communication. This is to give you guys heads up if you're planning to place an order through them. I will update my result for you to see if it's worthwhile to go through the company or not.
"KONAD Stamping Nail Art is a new nail-imprinting kit that lets you put designs by stamping pre-designed images on your nails in seconds. Apply or change designs any time you want, change designs weekly, daily or as many times you want....You can put designs not only on you nails but on mobile phone, earrings, pendant, bracelet, gift box, watches, calculators, clocks, sunglasses or any surface of your choice." (Konad.com)
One of my friends told me about stamping nail art recently and this seems like a very fun and easy way to achieve cute looking nails without having to break your pocket every single time. I'm planning to order the starter kit from Konad. The starter kit is about $16-30, which I think is a pretty decent price. My friend told me that even though it's fun to do, if you're planning to do the stamp on every finger, it'll take up some time. Anyway, here's a video demo from Konad, judge it for yourself:
Wow. That is some jazzy shit!!!
ReplyDeleteOhhh that's a great post! Very helpful! I am so into nails and I won't be able to find that myself! thanks girl!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try them out. Hopefully, the results are good cuz it'll save me a lot of $$$ & trip to the salon...considering gas prices these days...gahhh
ReplyDeleteI would love to see your results! but no pressure! lol anytime! :) thanks again
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to buy this kit for months, but I held myself back from buying. Every time I see nails done by Konad, I want to buy it... eek~ :X You should check out Soompi nail thread. They use this product a lot and their nails are gorgeous. The site you posted is cheaper but I wonder how much the shipping is. I know another site that has free shipping within US. Here's the link...

ReplyDeletehi cinthia. i haven't tried the l'oreal ones yet. i actually was going to, but chose these over the l'oreal ones because of the price. :P sorry.
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute! Even if I had steady hands or creative side, my nails on my right hand wouldn't look as good as the ones on my left. This stuff is meant for me.
ReplyDeletealyssa, thanks for the link. I'll definitely check out that website. Konad's shipping is depending on how much each product weights. Standard air mail for the basic set is about $6-8.
ReplyDeleteoOooo did you ever get this kit yet girl -- I've been online looking for one now or something comparable!
ReplyDeletefunny that i went researching for it and it turns me to your cute lil blog! YAY! GOOGLE!
I saw this at a kiosk in Fashion Island. The concept was so cool, but the designs were on the childish side. Sometimes I regret not buying the starter kit, other times I think "when would I wear it?"
ReplyDeletexD Sister has it; we both LOVE IT!!
