Shu Uemura, eyelash lengthening mascara
Labels: Product Reviews
$23 at Sephora.com
I picked up Shu Uemura fiber lengthening mascara at Sephora several weeks ago. I was gonna get the Imju Fiberwig mascara but it was all out. I figure might as well try the Shu Uermura one since it's also made of fiber and plus their products seem pretty decent. Also, it cost a dollar more than the Imju Fiberwig so it should be good right? Anyway, the big rave about the Imju Fiberwig is that it doesn't clog and the mascara easily come off with warm water. I must admit though the first several use of the Shu Uemura disappointed me. I thought it was alright for a typical mascara. So I put it to the side and haven't touch it until my Givenchy mascara ran low.
After using it almost every day for the past 2-3 weeks, I began to like it. The reason why I was disappointed before was because I only apply one coat of mascara and waited for a what so call "lengthening miracle" to happened. LOL. But the thing with fiber mascara is you have to apply multiple coat in order to see lengthening results. I normally don't like to do that with mascara cause it seems too thick and unnatural, but I figure well hey if you're gonna put on mascara why not make it noticeable? So I tried it with Shu Uemura, the results was decent and it wasn't so bad. It does give length but not so much like a fake length that many fuss over with Imju Fiberwig.
Compare to my regular Givenchy one, the Shu Uemura is better since it last longer and give a little bit more length. Maybe, I'll just switch to it since they're both basically the same price. Well, here are the before and after pictures with teh Shu Uemura fiber mascara. It's not too clear but I guess for now that will just do. =)
